At All Times | Psalm 34:1

“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1, NKJV). At all times is a bold commitment. Not when things are going well, not when praise feels natural, but at all times, regardless of circumstance.

David wrote this psalm after pretending to be insane to escape a dangerous situation, hardly his finest hour. And yet this is where he commits to continual praise.

That timing matters. This isn’t a commitment made from a place of comfort and safety. It’s made in the middle of an embarrassing, difficult season.

What would it look like to bless the Lord specifically in the circumstance you’re in right now, rather than waiting for an easier one to feel entitled to praise?
