“Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14, NKJV). Safety is a striking word to attach to counsel. Not just better decisions, but genuine protection.
This is worth remembering for anyone leading in isolation, without a genuine circle of counsel around them. The fall described here isn’t hypothetical, it’s the natural consequence of going it alone.
Multitude suggests more than a single advisor. Different perspectives catch different blind spots that one voice alone would miss.
Where are you currently making decisions without the safety of real counsel around you, that this verse suggests you’re missing?
