“Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established” (Proverbs 15:22, NKJV). Plans made in isolation, without outside input, tend to have blind spots their maker can’t see.
This isn’t a case against personal conviction or decisiveness. It’s a case for humility, recognizing that wise counsel from others tends to strengthen a plan rather than water it down.
Multitude suggests more than a single advisor. Different perspectives catch different blind spots, which is exactly why a range of counsel serves better than a single opinion.
