“In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul” (Psalm 94:19, NKJV). Multitude of anxieties is an honest phrase, not a single worry, but many, crowding in together.
And yet comfort still arrives, described here not as mild relief, but genuine delight, even in the midst of real anxiety.
This verse doesn’t ask anxiety to disappear before comfort can be received. Both are present together, honestly named side by side.
