    Whenever I Am Afraid | Psalm 56:3

“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You” (Psalm 56:3, NKJV). This verse doesn’t promise the absence of fear. Whenever assumes fear will actually happen, more than once.

The response isn’t to eliminate the fear through sheer willpower. It’s to place trust in God specifically at the moment fear arrives, not after it’s already passed.

That’s a realistic, sustainable pattern, fear will come, and trust is the decision made each time it does, not a one-time fix.

The next time fear arrives, whenever that is, what would it look like to make this same decision, to trust rather than to simply manage the fear alone?
