“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless… be glory and majesty” (Jude 1:24-25, NKJV). Able to keep is worth noticing. This isn’t a demand that you keep yourself from stumbling through sheer effort.
It’s God’s ability being praised, His capacity to keep and present, not merely your own discipline holding everything together.
Faultless is a striking word too, not nearly faultless, or improved, but genuinely faultless, a work only God’s power could accomplish.
Where have you been relying entirely on your own effort to avoid stumbling, when this verse points instead to the One who is actually able to keep you?
